Phoebe DeVito, MSW Supervisee in Social Work
Hi, I'm Phoebe!
I recently earned my Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and am now practicing full-time with Harper Therapy Group after completing my clinical specialization year at the practice. During my time here, I completed trainings in shame-informed therapy, polyvagal theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I practice from a trauma-informed lens.
I understand how overwhelming it can feel to carry the weight of everyday stress and the pressure to “have it all figured out.” In therapy with me, you don’t need to have the answers—just a willingness to be yourself and explore at your own pace. My approach is rooted in warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for the uniqueness of your story. I strive to meet you exactly where you are—whether that’s in the middle of a difficult season, on the edge of something new, or feeling unsure of where to go next. I work with individuals of all ages and have a particular interest in supporting clients navigating identity, life transitions, purpose, and belonging. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported as you explore both the struggles and strengths that shape your life. As a therapist, I value ongoing learning and growth in order to better support my clients. I have a growing passion for somatic, body-based work and enjoy helping clients reconnect with their bodies as part of the healing process. I am also expanding my skills in play therapy, sand tray techniques, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Currently, I am completing my yoga teacher certification and look forward to incorporating trauma-informed yoga into my work in the future. I currently offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to provide flexible options that meet your needs.
