Kaitlyn Kellermeyer, MSW Supervisee in Social Work
Hi, I'm Kaitlyn!
My commitment to all clients is to empathically support them through the adversities that will ultimately make them stronger and wiser people. I believe there is power in helping clients put their experiences into words that make them feel seen, validated, and empowered. I create a warm and safe presence in the room with clients, providing a therapeutic approach that matches each client’s individual needs. I respect client autonomy and expertise in their own life experiences. I believe that each person deserves to find and follow their unique path through life, and I am humbled to take that journey with you!
I currently use modalities such as Dialectic Behavioral therapy (DBT), solutions-focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Play-based therapy, and supportive counseling. Through ongoing training, I am obtaining credentials in shame-informed therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and other trauma informed therapies. I have worked with population groups such as pre-teen, teen, adult, and older adults, and I have worked with depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, executive functioning disorders, school refusal, life transitions, bullying, and relationship issues. Let’s have a conversation about whether we'd be a good match. I am currently offering both in person and telehealth options. |
