Irene Han, MSW Supervisee in Social Work
Hi, I'm Irene!
Life is full of transitions, and they can feel overwhelming at any stage. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. I believe each person possesses inherent strengths and resilience, and my role is to help you access those qualities while developing practical tools for meaningful, lasting change. Together, we will explore what matters most to you and move toward growth in a way that feels authentic and achievable.
In our work together, I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Shame-Informed Therapy. I am also trained in play therapy and sand tray techniques, which allow for deeper expression and processing—especially for children and adolescents. Additionally, I incorporate principles of Polyvagal Theory to support nervous system regulation, helping clients better understand their emotional responses and build a greater sense of safety and stability. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs and goals. I work with children ages 8 and older, teens, college students, and adults. Whether addressing school-related concerns, life transitions, anxiety, relationship challenges, or emotional regulation, I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate therapeutic experience that supports both insight and skill-building. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating—especially if you have not always felt heard or understood. My commitment is to provide a space where you feel genuinely listened to and supported as you move toward healing and personal growth. I currently offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to provide flexible options that meet your needs.
